Annojiguda: A shocking HIV blood injection attack in Telangana has led to the arrest of a 25-year-old man accused of forcibly injecting his HIV-positive blood into a woman after she rejected his marriage proposal.
The accused, identified as Kolipaka Manohar, was arrested by the Pocharam Police Station in the Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
Officials said the incident occurred at the victim’s residence on Friday and triggered a police investigation following a complaint filed by her father.
Police Arrest Accused in HIV Blood Injection Attack Telangana
According to police, the victim’s father Chiranjeevi lodged a complaint after learning about the alleged assault.
Acting on the complaint, officers tracked down the accused and arrested him on March 14, 2026, at NTPC X Road in Annojiguda.
Authorities said Manohar, a private employee, allegedly drew blood from his own body and forcibly injected it into the woman with the intention of harming her.
A police statement said the accused had used HIV-positive blood in the attack, raising serious health concerns for the victim.
Case Registered Under Attempt to Murder Charges
Police have booked the accused under Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which relates to attempt to murder.
Following his arrest, Manohar was produced before a court and sent to judicial remand.

Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident and gather further evidence.
Separate Murder Case Reported in Telangana
In another crime reported recently, a man allegedly stabbed his former wife to death in an apartment in Rangareddy district.
Police said the accused reportedly attacked the woman after she divorced him and remarried another person.
Officials confirmed that a case has been registered and the investigation is ongoing.
Rising Concern Over Violent Relationship Disputes
These incidents highlight growing concerns over violent crimes linked to personal relationships.
Law enforcement authorities say strict action will be taken against individuals involved in such offences while investigations continue in both cases.
