According to Urban Development Department sources, the proposed project will cover around 2,100 bighas of land near the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) headquarters at Mayapur.

Urban Development Minister Agnimitra Paul recently visited the temple and held discussions with government officials and ISKCON representatives on the proposed development plan.
