New Delhi: The Amarnath Yatra 2026 dates have been officially announced, with the annual pilgrimage set to begin on July 3 and conclude on August 28. The 57-day spiritual journey to the holy cave shrine in south Kashmir is expected to draw thousands of devotees from across the country.
Authorities have also confirmed that the registration process will start from April 15, allowing pilgrims to prepare well in advance.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha shared that the schedule was finalised during a meeting of the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board.
Pilgrims aged between 13 and 70 years will be eligible to participate in the yatra. Registration will be mandatory for all devotees planning to undertake the journey.
The 57-day duration provides flexibility for pilgrims to plan their visit during different phases of the yatra.
