BJP manifesto MCD 2022 : The Bharatiya Janata Party-BJP on Friday released the 12-point party manifesto for the December 4 Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections. Poll promises include cancellation of business, health and factory licenses.


The manifesto was released in the presence of Union Minister Piyush Goyal along with Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta, manifesto committee president Satish Upadhyay, Delhi BJP leader Baijayant Panda and other Delhi BJP leaders showed the manifesto at the BJP office in Delhi.


In the manifesto, BJP said, “We are committed to provide all MCD services to citizens on mobile devices and will continue to provide better facilities to our employees.”

The BJP party has also assured that it will contribute to control pollution in Delhi and make it a green city. In the manifesto, the BJP promised, “Within 5 years, we will provide housing to 7 million poor in Delhi with the help of the Union government. We will also simplify house building rules and further reduce property tax.”

In its manifesto, the party also talked about regularizing all weekly markets and providing more facilities to street vendors, unorganized workers and marginalized sections.

“We will cancel factory license and traders will get additional license fee exemption. We will continue to improve basic amenities in slums, rural areas, unauthorized colonies and JJ clusters,” the party said in its manifesto.

The BJP further stated that it will “provide self-employment opportunities, quality healthcare facilities and a dignified life to women. We will provide new opportunities for self-employment for young people and transform all 1,616 schools of the corporation into smart schools by 2027.

“We will modernize health infrastructure in Delhi and connect them with Jan Aushadhi Kendras. We are committed to provide better parking facilities and solve the problem of stray animals. We will build 1000 permanent Chhath Ghats by creating new water bodies and also promote cultural heritage.” from Delhi,” in the BJP manifesto MCD 2022 said.


The party manifesto states that free cycles will be provided to deserving girls in MCD schools and all such schools will be upgraded to smart schools by 2027.


The party also announced that 50 women-run ‘jan rasois’ would be opened in the city at ₹5 per meal. Also, monthly scholarships will be provided to students above class 5.
