Reports state that the vehicle was travelling from Mecca to Medinah when the collision took place and several passengers were asleep during the moment of impact. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said he was deeply shocked by the incident and confirmed that the Indian Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulate in Jeddah are extending full support to the affected families.
