CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Monday visited Perambur and inaugurated a new MLA office in the constituency, marking another step towards strengthening public outreach and constituency-level governance. As the elected MLA from Perambur, Vijay said the office will function as a direct link between the people and their elected representative, enabling quicker resolution of civic issues and better coordination with government departments.
The inauguration was attended by local residents, party workers and public representatives.

During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with residents and reviewed local issues affecting the constituency. He stressed that the newly inaugurated MLA office would make it easier for people to submit grievances, seek assistance and access government welfare schemes.
