IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall and Thunderstorms Across Several Indian States

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall at isolated locations across Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura today.

Additionally, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh may experience light rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds up to June 4.

Isolated to moderate rainfall, along with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds, is also expected today in Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar.

The IMD further stated that Kerala, Mahe, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh are also likely to experience thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds. Meanwhile, Saurashtra and Kutch are forecast to witness strong surface winds at isolated places.
