IPL 2025: RR vs KKR: On Wednesday, March 26, the RR (Rajasthan Royals) will face the defending champions KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati in the sixth match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025.

In their first match, the Royals lost to last year’s runners-up, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), away. On a batting paradise, the Riyan Parag-led side’s poor fielding and bowling allowed the Sunrisers to score 286/6 after being asked to bat first. Tushar Deshpande took three wickets for the Royals, but gave 44 runs in four overs.

Samson and Dhruv Jurel each scored half-centuries, while late contributions from Shimron Hetmyer and Shubham Dubey enabled the Royals end on 242/6 in 20 overs.

Meanwhile, the Kolkata Knight Riders hosted Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the season’s first match at Eden Gardens. After losing the toss, the Knights batted first, scoring 174/8 in 20 overs. Captain Ajinkya Rahane hit a smooth half-century, while Sunil Narine and Angkrish Raghuvanshi provided important runs.

However, Royal Challengers Bengaluru made easy work of the score, chasing it down in 16.2 overs with seven wickets in hand. Sunil Narine was the only bowler to finish with economical figures, returning 1/27 from four overs.
