Bhubaneswar: Kalia Yojana’s 8th installment transferred to farmers account today. Today, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik met the farmers on occasion of Nuakhai. Today Thursday, Rs. 2000 has been transferred to the account of the beneficiary farmers of the state’s Kalia Yojana. A total of 41 lakh small farmers and 85 thousand homeless farmers have benefited from this scheme. A total of Rs 869 crore has been spent on this.

On the occasion of Nuakhai, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that Nuakhai is the festival of Mother Earth. All of us are blessed by mother soil because of the hard work of our farming brothers. So farmers are our pride and glory. On this holy day, I am very happy to provide kalia help to my farmer brothers and sisters. The Chief Minister said that Kalia Yojana is the best plan in the country. It has created hope and hope for the small farmers. It is also helping a lot to protect the livelihood of the landless farmers.

It is worth noting that on the occasion of Akshay Tritiya last May, more than 800 crore rupees were given to the farmers in the seventh installment.
