Nani Begins Shooting for ‘The Paradise’ in Hyderabad; First Look as ‘Dhagad’ Unveiled

Published on

Telugu star Nani has officially joined the sets of his upcoming film ‘The Paradise’, directed by Srikanth Odela, marking the beginning of a crucial 40-day shoot in Hyderabad. The filming began on June 21, with the early days focusing on childhood sequences central to the story.

Nani came on board on Saturday, kicking off a major leg of the production that will cover significant scenes featuring the lead cast. This film marks the second collaboration between Nani and Odela, following the success of their 2023 blockbuster ‘Dasara’.

The makers unveiled a first-look image of Nani’s character, ‘Dhagad’, through the film’s official social media accounts. In the still, Nani is seen standing confidently with one foot atop a stack of weight plates, wearing green leather shoes and a distinctive anklet-watch—hinting at the film’s unique and stylized visual tone.

Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, The Paradise is set for a pan-world release on March 26. The film will be released in eight languages: Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, English, and Spanish—making it one of Nani’s most ambitious projects to date.

Nani’s Recent Projects

On the work front, Nani was last seen in ‘Hit 3: The Third Case’, directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu, the creator of the popular HIT franchise. The film also featured Srinidhi Shetty, Rao Ramesh, Prateik Patil, and Tisca Chopra in prominent roles.
