Following the accident, a video surfaced showing Deepak’s dismissive reaction when confronted by bystanders. When asked about the incident, he responded, “Is anyone dead?” This nonchalant attitude sparked public outrage. Police arrested Deepak at the scene and seized the vehicle.

Initially, the FIR did not mention the driver’s name, leading to allegations of a cover-up. Noida Police clarified that the complainant was unaware of Deepak’s identity at the time of filing. Once identified, his name was added to the FIR, and he was charged with rash driving and causing hurt by an act endangering life.
