PM Modi Begins Bihar Election Drive from Karpoori Gram, Pays Tribute to Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially launched his PM Modi Bihar election campaign from Karpoori Gram, the ancestral village of Bharat Ratna Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur in Samastipur district. During his visit, the Prime Minister paid floral tributes to the late leader, who is remembered for his lifelong dedication to the poor and marginalized.

At the campaign launch in Karpoori Gram, PM Modi emphasized Thakur’s role as a true “Jan Nayak” who fought selflessly for the rights of the downtrodden. The Prime Minister’s homage underlined his government’s focus on carrying forward the legacy of leaders who championed social harmony and justice. His visit marked a symbolic beginning to the PM Modi Bihar election campaign, connecting modern development goals with Bihar’s historic leaders of reform.

PM Modi Criticizes Opposition Over Corruption and False Claims

Addressing a large public meeting in Samastipur, the Prime Minister delivered a strong message against the opposition parties. He accused them of being involved in scams and corruption, stating that those “out on bail for scams are now trying to steal the title of ‘Jan Nayak.’” PM Modi warned that the people of Bihar would not tolerate such an insult to Karpoori Thakur’s legacy.

Warning Against Return of ‘Jungle Raj’

PM Modi cautioned voters against what he termed the “wicked intentions” of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress. He said these parties want to drag Bihar back to the era of lawlessness known as ‘Jungle Raj.’ The Prime Minister urged citizens to reject the politics of fear and instability, stressing that Bihar’s bright and prosperous future depends on continued development and good governance.

Highlighting Rapid Development and Investment in Bihar

PM Modi showcased the government’s achievements, stating that Bihar has received three times more funds under his administration compared to the Congress regime. “Three times more money means three times faster development,” he said. The Prime Minister mentioned major infrastructure projects including the highway from Samastipur to Purnea, new Vande Bharat train services, the Darbhanga airport, and upcoming power plants. He emphasized that a positive business climate has been created, with investors eager to enter Bihar and youth preparing to launch startups in every district.
