In a post on his X handle, PM Modi shared, “Today, the auspicious conclusion of the great festival of Chhath took place with the morning arghya offered to Lord Sun God.” He added that the four-day festival beautifully showcased India’s divine and grand traditions, symbolizing faith, purity, and gratitude.

Chhath Puja, predominantly celebrated in Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and parts of Nepal, marks a time of unity and collective faith. Devotees stand in rivers and ponds to offer prayers at sunrise and sunset, expressing gratitude to the Sun God for life and energy.
