Speaking during his monthly radio address Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister said the collective achievements of the year united the country and filled every Indian with pride.

PM Modi noted that as 2026 approaches, memories of the past year continue to resonate deeply. He said 2025 offered countless moments that showcased India’s progress, resilience, and global presence. From security and science to culture and sports, India left a strong imprint on the world stage throughout the year.

He emphasized that India’s journey in 2025 was not limited to milestones alone, but also reflected the spirit of unity, devotion, and self-reliance among citizens across the country.

PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 2025 highlights: National Security and Cultural Pride

Highlighting national security as a major achievement, Prime Minister Modi praised the Indian Armed Forces for their decisive action against terrorism in May. He said Operation Sindoor emerged as a moment of national pride and demonstrated that modern India does not compromise on its security under any circumstances.

According to the Prime Minister, the operation inspired powerful expressions of patriotism, with people across the nation displaying devotion and love for the motherland in diverse ways. He added that similar enthusiasm was seen during the celebration of 150 years of the national song Vande Mataram. Citizens actively participated by sharing messages and ideas through the hashtag VandeMataram150, reflecting deep emotional and cultural unity.

Sports Achievements That Made the Nation Proud in 2025

PM Modi described 2025 as a memorable year for Indian sports, marked by historic victories and inspiring performances. He recalled that the Men’s Cricket Team lifted the ICC Champions Trophy, while the Women’s Cricket Team secured their first-ever World Cup title, creating a landmark moment in Indian sports history.

He also praised the Women’s Blind Cricket Team for winning the T20 World Cup and highlighted India’s success in the Asia Cup T20, where the Tricolour flew high once again. The Prime Minister further acknowledged the achievements of para-athletes, who won multiple medals at world championships, proving that determination can overcome any challenge.

PM Modi Mann Ki Baat 2025 highlights: Space, Science, and Environmental Progress

Speaking on scientific advancement, the Prime Minister said India took significant strides in space exploration and research during 2025. He cited astronaut Shubanshu Shukla’s historic journey, noting that he became the first Indian to reach the International Space Station, a moment that inspired millions.

PM Modi also mentioned that environmental protection and wildlife conservation remained key focus areas throughout the year. He noted that India’s cheetah population crossed the 30 mark, calling it an encouraging sign for conservation efforts and ecological balance.

Faith, Swadeshi Spirit, and India’s Readiness for 2026

Reflecting on faith and heritage, the Prime Minister said 2025 beautifully showcased India’s cultural depth. The grand organisation of the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh at the beginning of the year drew global attention, while the flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya toward the year’s end filled citizens with immense pride.

He also underlined the growing popularity of Swadeshi products, stating that people increasingly preferred goods made through Indian effort and craftsmanship. According to PM Modi, this shift reflects a stronger commitment to self-reliance.

While expressing sorrow over the natural disasters faced by several regions during the year, the Prime Minister concluded by saying that 2025 ultimately gave India greater confidence. He affirmed that the country now stands ready to welcome 2026 with new hopes, renewed energy, and firm resolutions for the future.
