NEW DELHI: The Rohit Sharma Padma Shri honour has added another landmark achievement to the former Indian captain’s distinguished career. President Droupadi Murmu presented the Padma Shri to Rohit Sharma during the Civil Investiture Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan, recognizing his immense contribution to Indian cricket.
Rohit attended the ceremony alongside his wife Ritika Sajdeh. The award places him among the country’s most celebrated sportspersons and acknowledges a career that has delivered memorable performances, major trophies and consistent success at the international level.
