Rourkela: The Rourkela plane crash occurred on Saturday afternoon when a small aircraft went down in the Jalada area under the Raghunathpali region of Rourkela, causing injuries to all six people on board. The incident sparked concern among local residents and authorities, prompting immediate rescue operations and the launch of an official investigation to determine the cause of the accident.

According to initial information, the aircraft was operating a short domestic flight and met with the accident shortly after departure, raising questions about possible technical or operational issues.

Rourkela Plane Crash: Aircraft Down After Short Distance

Reports indicate that the nine-seater aircraft had taken off from Bhubaneswar and was headed to Rourkela when it crashed after covering a distance of approximately 10 kilometres. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear, though officials confirmed that all six individuals on board sustained injuries during the impact.

Eyewitnesses in the area reported hearing a loud sound before the aircraft went down, following which local authorities were alerted and emergency services rushed to the site.

Injured Rescued and Shifted to Hospital

Following the accident, rescue teams reached the crash site and swiftly evacuated the injured passengers. All six individuals were transported to a nearby hospital, where they are currently undergoing medical treatment.
