Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim expressed strong belief in his team’s ability following their narrow 1–0 loss to Arsenal on Sunday in the Premier League. Despite conceding early from a set-piece, United dominated large spells of the game and managed to restrict key Arsenal stars such as Bukayo Saka, Viktor Gyokeres, and Declan Rice to minimal influence. The decisive moment came in the 13th minute when goalkeeper Altay Bayindir mistimed a challenge in the box, allowing Riccardo Calafiori to head in from close range.
Amorim praised his side’s high pressing and improved intensity compared to last season. “We have players to win any game in the Premier League. We were more aggressive than last year. We went one against one all game and pressed high. We had quality with the ball,” the manager said.
