Slovakia Offers India Ample Opportunities for Growth and Collaboration: President Murmu

President Droupadi Murmu, who is now on an official visit to Slovakia, launched the Slovak-India Business Forum in Bratislava today. The event was also attended by Slovak President Peter Pellegrini and Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár. President Murmu emphasized the meeting as an important opportunity to form alliances and develop commercial opportunities into actual collaborations.

The President also stressed India’s progress as the fastest-growing economy, with the goal of becoming the world’s third-largest and a $5 trillion economy in the near future.

President Murmu emphasized Slovakia’s industrial strength and strategic position, stating that Slovakia provides India with several chances for growth and collaboration. The President stated that India’s qualified workforce will be an important benefit to Slovakia’s economy.

Slovak President Pellegrini stated that despite their distance, India and Slovakia’s relations are improving. He stressed that integrating Slovakia’s engineering experience with India’s IT and AI breakthroughs might result in significant success, with the forum transforming opportunities into long-term benefits.
