Terrorism from Pakistan Is a Global Concern, Not Just India’s Issue: EAM Jaishankar

Published on

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has emphasized that terrorism emanating from Pakistan is not just a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan, but a global concern that requires collective international attention.

In his statement, Dr. Jaishankar pointed out that the impact of terrorism extends beyond regional borders, affecting peace and stability across the world. He asserted that countries must avoid double standards in combating terror and should adopt a unified approach in tackling the threat.

Dr. Jaishankar reiterated India’s unwavering stance against terrorism in all forms and said that India continues to raise this issue at international forums, urging stronger global cooperation to dismantle terrorist networks operating across borders.

The statement comes amid ongoing concerns about cross-border terrorism and Pakistan’s role in supporting extremist groups. India has consistently highlighted these issues at global platforms, calling for increased pressure on state sponsors of terrorism.
