Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy Launches Logo, Brochure, and Website of Bharat Steel

The Union Minister of Steel and Heavy Industries, Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy, today officially launched the logo, brochure, and website of Bharat Steel 2026 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The event was attended by Secretary (Steel) Shri Sandeep Poundrik and senior officials from the Ministry of Steel.

The launch took place during a workshop for the secondary steel sector, reflecting the Government’s focus on fostering growth, innovation, and sustainability across the steel value chain.

Bharat Steel 2026: India’s Flagship Global Steel Conference and Exhibition

Bharat Steel 2026 is the Ministry of Steel’s premier international conference-cum-exhibition, scheduled for April 16–17, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event aims to bring together global industry leaders, policymakers, technology providers, and investors to highlight India’s capabilities in green and sustainable steelmaking, as well as explore opportunities in both domestic and global markets.

The conference will feature thematic sessions, sectoral and country-specific roundtables, a CEOs’ Conference, technology showcases, and buyer-seller meets. Both the primary and secondary steel sectors will participate extensively. With a vision to become the largest steel exhibition in India and beyond, Bharat Steel aspires to position India as a global hub for innovation, collaboration, and investment in the steel industry.
