World Cerebral Palsy Day Theme 2023

World Cerebral Palsy Day in 2023 will have the theme “Together Stronger.” This theme emphasizes the value of cooperation, solidarity, and support among those who have cerebral palsy and those who do not. It stresses how powerful a force for inclusion and transformation people, families, caregivers, and communities can be when they work together.

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Government of India houses the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), which is the key department for managing the nation’s whole development program for people with disabilities.

The DEPwD will observe World Cerebral Palsy Day on October 6, 2023, through the institutions affiliated with it by holding various events across the nation in an effort to raise awareness of the condition among the general public.

Cerebral palsy is a physical disability that impacts posture and mobility. Numerous persons with cerebral palsy have additional mobility, communication, visual, and hearing requirements. The effects can be anything from a weakening in one hand to nearly no voluntary movement.
