Sonu Sood to Help Set up a School for Orphaned Children in Bihar

Published on

Sonu Sood, a Bollywood actor and philanthropist, will help establish a new school for disadvantaged pupils in Bihar. He was inspired by an engineer from the state’s Kathihar city, who quit his full-time work to build a school for orphaned youngsters. The engineer named his school after the actor.

Sonu was startled to learn about Birendra Kumar Mahato, a 27-year-old engineer, in February of this year. According to media reports, the actor was moved by his efforts to offer free education and food to 110 children and met Mahato and the children at the school, which also serves as a refuge house.

Sonu Sood spent time with Mahato to learn about the school’s requirements, from rationing to quality education, raising awareness, and bridging the education divide between affluent and poor. By the end of the day, he had begun developing a new facility for the school in order to house more poor children, provide them with higher education, and ensure that every child has food.

“Improving access to education is one of the most effective ways to combat poverty.” “We want to educate children from underserved communities so that they have a better chance at finding work,” Sood explained.

“We are working on improving higher education.” Another critical issue is nourishment and overall well-being, as this school also serves as a night refuge,” he noted. The actor is currently educating over ten thousand pupils across the country.
