All India Thal Sainik Camp 2023 Inaugurated at New Delhi

New Delhi: DG NCC Lt Gen Gurbirpal Singh officially inaugurated the All India Thal Sainik Camp at the Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi Cantt. The camp is being attended by about 1,547 Cadets (867 Boys and 680 Girls) from 17 NCC Directorates representing all the States and Union Territories.

The cadets would participate in a variety of disciplines throughout the 12-day camp, which started on September 19, including shooting, obstacle training, map reading, and other professional training events.

The DG NCC welcomed the cadets to the famous camp and spoke on the occasion, saying that it would expose them to a life full of adventure, discipline, and honor, instilling a sense of leadership, and brotherhood.

The camp’s purpose, he continued, is to expose participants to key elements of Army Wing Training, promote a spirit of competition, and instill in them a feeling of discipline, leadership, and national integration.
