British YouTuber Miles Routledge jokes about launching nuclear weapons at India, racist remarks

Published on

British YouTuber Miles Routledge is well-known for his daring and frequently contentious posts. His channel is a combination of commentary on many topics, travel vlogs, and personal experiences. Due to his controversial acts and excursions to conflict areas, Routledge has achieved some celebrity that has drawn both praise and criticism. Because of his travel-related dangers and unconventional content, he frequently causes debate.

Miles Routledge, who was among the students displaced in Afghanistan after the Taliban took control of the country in 2021, was in the news once more. This time, it was for making fun of someone he thought was Indian. The caption on the private conversation that Routledge shared with the individual said, “Indian threatens to find me, it backfires lmao.”

When Routledge made a disturbing remark about launching nuclear missiles at India, the situation worsened. “When I become prime minister of England, I’ll open the nuclear silos as an explicit warning to any foreign power that interferes with British interests and affairs,” he wrote in a post that included a purported video of nuclear missiles. I’m dying to launch and atomize entire nations for the least transgression; I’m not talking about major incidents. Hell, I might even launch in India purely for fun.”

An Indian user criticized Routledge for promoting false information and encouraging violence as the post amassed millions of views. Routledge responded by intensifying his derogatory remarks, saying, “I don’t care about it much; the income from ad sharing is tiny compared to my merchandise sales.” Unbelievably, I don’t like India at all. He is Indian, and I can feel that too. In the first response, if a man you meet online talks about avoiding your mother, he’s probably Indian. Numerous instances of this kind.”
