Even after two decades, fans have been eagerly waiting for Munna Bhai 3, and now it seems the wait might finally be over.
Arshad Warsi Shares Exciting Update
Arshad Warsi, who immortalised the character of Circuit, recently spoke about the beloved series in an interview with Screen. Reminiscing about his bond with co-star Sanjay Dutt, Arshad said, “Sanju is just mind-blowing, he is a different kind of talent altogether. It used to be so much fun just being with him. I’m somebody who is very bad at remembering the entire script, but for Sanju, I had to recall the whole story to remind him what we were shooting that day. He would ask, ‘Bro, what are we doing today?’ and I’d tell him which scene we were shooting, what we did yesterday, and what comes next. What happened on screen was pure magic.”
The Ba**ds of Bollywood* actor also revealed a major update about the third instalment. “See, with part 3, the thing is that once it was not happening at all, but now Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) is actually working on it. He is seriously working on it, and it seems like it should happen now,” Arshad confirmed.
Rajkumar Hirani Working on the Script
Rajkumar Hirani has previously mentioned that he plans to make Munna Bhai 3 but is waiting for the perfect story. With Arshad’s recent comments, fans are hopeful that the much-loved duo of Munna and Circuit will soon return to the big screen to recreate the magic that won millions of hearts.

The Munna Bhai series, which began with Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003) followed by Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006), became a defining part of Indian cinema for its humour, heart, and social message.
