Ram Navami 2025: On the sacred occasion of Ram Navami, the holy city of Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, witnessed a divine spectacle as a ray of sunlight directly illuminated the forehead of the Ram Lalla idol, a phenomenon known as ‘Surya Tilak’. This celestial event symbolized the birth of Lord Ram, with the sunbeam casting a spiritual radiance over the deity, enhancing the sanctity of the celebrations.

The ‘Surya Tilak’ took place precisely at 12 noon, as a carefully directed sunbeam aligned perfectly with the forehead of Ram Lalla, creating a celestial tilak.

Ram Navami 2025 Celebrations

Ram Navami is observed with immense devotion and grandeur across India, marking the birth anniversary of Lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The festival is celebrated through bhajans, processions, and Vedic chants, filling the atmosphere with divine energy. As per the Drik Panchang, Lord Rama was born on Navami Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the Chaitra month.

Thousands of devotees gathered at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple to seek blessings on this auspicious day. Before entering the temple, many took a holy dip in the sacred Saryu River, believing it to cleanse their sins. The Ram Janmabhoomi Temple was beautifully decorated with vibrant flowers and dazzling lights, drawing devotees from all corners of the country to celebrate the divine birth of Lord Ram.
