Covid Guidelines in Bhubaneswar: No mask no entry

Bhubaneswar: Covid-19 guidelines for BMC: Due to increases cases of COVID in Bhubaneswar, The Bhubaneswar Metropolitan Corporation (BMC) on Saturday issued new guidelines for residents of the capital. People living in the Bhubaneswar Metropolitan Corporation area and those coming from outside Bhubaneswar are asked to wear masks. All shops, shopping malls, and shops are closed to customers if they do not wear masks. Outside the shop, posters of “No Mask No Entry or No Mask No Things” have been asked to be hit.

According to BMC Covid-19 guidelines , customers who do not wear masks at petrol pumps are prohibited from selling petrol, diesel and CNG. Similarly, the head of all public and private institutions will monitor whether all employees are wearing masks while in office. The BMC has suggested that everyone follow social rules such as protecting social distances, washing hands, and not spitting in public.

Also, The BMC targets to vaccinate around 8 lakh persons in the free vaccination drive during the next 75 days. While the special vaccination drive for 18-59 age group began at 12 centers on Friday.
