Odisha logs 1043 new Covid cases today; Khurdha adds 335

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 1043 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday. The state Information and PR department said. With these additions, the state’s overall COVID-19 tally rose to 12,97,175. On Thursday, the state had registered 804 cases of coronavirus.

As many as 479 patients recovered from the coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, taking their cumulative count to 12,83,169 and leaving the state with 4825 active cases, the department said.

The department said 18,664 swab samples were examined in the last 24 hours, taking the number of tests conducted so far in the state to 3,23,14,102.
