A notable 15.77 lakh members who had previously exited rejoined EPFO in April, up 19.19% from the previous month. These individuals opted to transfer their EPFO accounts rather than withdraw funds, securing their long-term financial stability and social security.

Female Workforce Participation on the Rise

Maharashtra led the tally, accounting for 21.12% of net additions, while the top five states/UTs made up 60.10% of total net payroll additions in April.
