India to brief world about Operation Sindoor: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju

Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju who visited Leh today has said Multi -Party Parliamentary Committee set up by the Centre will visit foreign countries and will brief the world leaders about the Operation Sindoor and India’s resolve to deal with terrorism.

He further said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched Operation Sindoor to dismantle the Pakistan-sponsored Terrorist Infrastructures.

He said this on the sidelines of a function unveiling a statue of 19th Gyalsras Kushok Bakula Rinpochey at Shardhanjali Park in Leh. Speaking on the occasion, Rijiju said that he considered himself lucky to be present for the unveiling of the statue of Kushok Bakula Rinpochey.

Bakula Rinpoche was prominent spiritual and political leader of Ladakh who was also diplomat and served Ambassador of Mongolia for two terms.

Kushok Bakula Rinpochey is widely regarded as the architect of modern Ladakh for his selfless contributions in various fields of life and was awarded with the Padma Bhushan in 1988.
