Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain resign from Delhi AAP Cabinet

New Delhi: Big news has come out from the national capital New Delhi. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and and Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Tuesday resigned from the Delhi AAP cabinet. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accepted the resignations of both the ministers.

Let us tell you that Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is embroiled in controversies regarding the Delhi Excise Policy and is currently on CBI remand till March 4. Manish Sisodia’s resignation was being speculated after being taken into custody by the CBI. Along with Sisodia, Satyendra Jain has also resigned from the post of minister, he is currently lodged in Tihar Jail.

According to AAP source, the Chief Minister Kejriwal may reshuffle the cabinet after the resignation of two ministers Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain .

Notably, Delhi BJP demanded that jailed ministers should be out of the Delhi AAP cabinet.

The Supreme Court has refused to hear the case of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who is on CBI remand in the Delhi Excise case. The Supreme Court has asked Sisodia to go to the High Court.

Tthe Aam Aadmi Party has said that it will approach the High Court against the CBI. Manish will currently be in CBI remand. His lawyers demanded a hearing by filing a petition against the arrest of Sisodia.
