Ranchi: Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has officially kicked off his MS Dhoni IPL 2026 preparation, as the veteran star was recently seen practising in the nets ahead of the upcoming season.
The 44-year-old, who continues to play only in the IPL after retiring from international cricket, will once again represent Chennai Super Kings for the 17th time.
MS Dhoni IPL 2026 Preparation Shared by JSCA
The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) posted a clip on social media showing Dhoni padded up and taking part in a batting session.
Calling him their pride, JSCA wrote in the caption, “Look who is back. Pride of JSCA: Mahendra Singh Dhoni.”
In the video, Dhoni can also be seen casually chatting with JSCA secretary and former cricketer Saurabh Tiwary before stepping into the nets.
