Odisha CM Kisan Yojana 2024: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi presents the first budget of the new BJP government in Odisha for 2024–25. With a projected total of Rs 2.65 lakh crore, of which Rs. 1935 crore is granted for the Odisha CM’s New Scheme CM Kisan for farmers.
‘The state’s major industry in terms of employment is agriculture and related sectors, which are also essential to the state’s socioeconomic growth. This industry accounts for 22.5% of the state’s Gross State Value Added (GSVA) and employs 45.80% of the labour force. Our government acknowledges the importance of this industry and how it affects the State’s economy as a whole. As a result, I suggest raising the funding for the agricultural and related sectors from Rs. 24,829 crores in 2023–2024 to Rs. 33,919 crores in 2024–2025 a rise of more than 36%, Presenting the 2024-25 Budget’, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has stated that the government plans to put a strong emphasis on increasing farmers’ income through the promotion of a sustainable and inclusive agricultural revolution. We have taken action to allow farmers in the State’s rural and urban areas, regardless of their land holdings, to apply for financial support of Rs. 6000 annually under the PM Kisan plan in accordance with Government of India standards. We would offer further top-up under the CM Kisan scheme, for which an allocation of Rs. 1935 crore is suggested for 2024–2025, to further increase the farmer’s income.
The CM Kisan Yojana 2024 Odisha Scheme will provide Rs. 2000 for a crop per season. Beneficiary farmer applicants are expected to receive financial support from the State Government in the amount of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 per year.

- Beneficiary farmer should be a permanent resident of Odisha.
- Farmers with a land holding of one to two hectares.
- The annual Income of the farmer below Rs. 2 lakh.
