Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership, extending warm wishes on his 75th birthday and calling it a “day of joy.”

The CM participated in several programmes including Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, and Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar to mark the occasion. He described Modi as a leader whose vision and dedication have given India “new momentum and direction.”

PM Modi’s leadership and welfare initiatives

CM Majhi praised Modi’s lifelong service to the nation, highlighting that he is the first Prime Minister born after independence who has consistently prioritized India’s interests during his 55-year-long political journey.

Citing key schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Matru Vandana Yojana, and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Majhi said these programmes reflect the PM’s commitment to improving lives of common citizens and promoting inclusive growth.
