BHUBANESWAR: The OT&AS officer dismissed case has resulted in swift administrative action after Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi ordered the removal of newly appointed Odisha Taxation and Accounts Service (OT&AS) officer Bhimsen Tudu from government service. Tudu went missing from the induction training programme on June 4, 2026.
He did not appear for the final examination conducted during the training.
Police later arrested him in connection with a death case registered at Barang Police Station.
Following his arrest, he was remanded to judicial custody.

Based on these developments, the Chief Minister directed his immediate dismissal from government service.
