Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025):

For Technical Posts: 18–32 years
For Store Keeper Trainee: 21–32 years
Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women, 10 years for PWD

Educational Qualification:

Electrical Trainee: HSC with ITI in Electrician Trade (NCVT candidates preferred)
Mechanical Trainee: HSC with ITI in Fitter Trade (NCVT preferred)
Welder Trainee: HSC with ITI in Welder Trade (NCVT preferred)
Crane Operator Trainee: 10th pass with valid Workman-C permit and 5 years’ experience in operating cranes or ITI in relevant trade
Store Keeper Trainee: Commerce Graduate with 1-year Diploma in Computer Application

Training and Pay

Selected candidates will undergo one-year training. During this period, they will receive a stipend of ₹22,700 per month, along with medical and remote area allowances. On successful completion, candidates will be regularised under the pay matrix of ₹25,500–₹81,100 with allowances as per OHPC rules.

Selection Process

Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- 120 MCQs (Part I: 40 General Aptitude, Part II: 80 Technical)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer
Stage 2: Document Verification
Final selection will be based on merit, subject to medical fitness and certificate verification.

The CBT will be held across major cities in Odisha, including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Berhampur, Balasore, Dhenkanal, Angul, Jeypore, and Bhawanipatna.

UR/SEBC: ₹500 (Non-refundable)
SC/ST (Odisha) and PWD: Exempted
