OSSSC Re-Conducts Preliminary Exam 2023: RI, ARI, Amin, Supervisor and SFS Posts from October 8

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced the re-conduct of the Preliminary Examination for Combined Recruitment Examination-2023 (IV). The recruitment covers several key posts, including Revenue Inspector (RI), ICDS Supervisor, Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI), Amin, and Statistical Field Surveyor (SFS).

OSSSC Preliminary Exam 2023: New Schedule

As per the official notification, the Preliminary Examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode from October 8, 2025. The exam process may continue until the third week of November 2025 to cover candidates from all districts across Odisha.

The Commission clarified that it reserves the right to revise the schedule in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Admission Letter Download and Mock Test

Candidates can download their Admission Letters from the OSSSC website (www.osssc.gov.in) by using their User ID and Password.

The Admission Letter will include details such as exam date, venue, shift timing, and examination center. Importantly, no hard copies will be sent by post.

Additionally, candidates are strongly advised to take the Mock Test available on the OSSSC portal before appearing for the examination.

Normalization Method for Fair Evaluation

Since the exam will be conducted on multiple dates and in different shifts with varied question sets, the Commission will implement a normalization method to ensure fairness and uniformity in evaluation.

The detailed normalization methodology is already available on the OSSSC website for candidates’ reference.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • All terms and conditions of the original advertisement remain unchanged.
  • Candidates must frequently check the official OSSSC portal for latest updates, notices, and announcements related to the exam.
  • The Commission emphasized that candidates should carefully read all instructions mentioned in the Admission Letter before appearing for the test.
