PM Modi condoles the loss of lives a road accident in Jharsuguda, Speeding truck hits bus

Jharsuguda /New Delhi: The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives due to Jharsuguda Road Accident, Odisha.

The Prime Minister’s office tweeted” The accident in Odisha’s Jharsuguda is saddening. My thoughts are with the families of those who have lost their lives in the accident. I pray that those injured recover at the earliest: PM”

Notably, A coal-laden truck collided with the bus. The deceased personnel were returning after completing their work in the plant when the mishap took place. Most employees are severely injured. 10 people have been referred to a hospital in Burla, while 14 under treatment here. The injured persons have been shifted to the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Science and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla of Sambalpur.

According to police, 6 persons dead, over 20 injured as a bus carrying employees of a company met with Jharsuguda Road Accident.
