Rajendra Prasad Das expels from BJD Party Today

Bhubaneswar: Former BJD MLA Rajendra Prasad Das expelled from Biju Janta Dal-BJD. He is expelled from BJD for being involved in anti-party activities by Party president Mr. Naveen Patnaik.

Rajendra Prasad Das expelled from BJD today. Notably, Raju was unhappy after Avanti was nominated for BJD candidate in the Dhamnagar by-election. After that Rajendra Das is contesting as an independent in by-election. However, many political leaders of the party came to convince him but all fail. Finally, he made sure to contest the election as an independent.

Notably, In the Dhamnagar by-election, there are 5 Candidates in fight, including Suryabansi Suraj from BJP, Avanti Das from BJD, Baba Harekrishna Sethi from Congress, Rajendra Das and Pabitra Mohan Das as independents.

The fight between the three parties BJD, BJP, Congress and independent candidates will be intense. No one is ready to leave anyone in the field of electoral battle. This constituency was held by BJP in 2019. From here Vishnu Sethi was the MLA. This seat became vacant due to died of Vishnu Charan Sethi.
