I had to transform myself to do justice to it because the audience can easily tell when you are faking it,” he said. We all did everything possible to stay true to these characters — in how we behave, react, and even speak,” he told YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia.

According to reports, the editing of Ramayana: Part 1 has been completed, and the team is now focused on its VFX work, which will continue for nearly 300 days. The first instalment is set for a grand Diwali 2026 release, followed by Ramayana: Part 2 in Diwali 2027. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the project promises to be a cinematic spectacle rooted in faith, devotion, and storytelling excellence.
