Rasha Thadani Confirmed as Heroine in Ajay Bhupathi’s Fourth Film

Published on

Filmmaker Ajay Bhupathi has officially confirmed the heroine of his upcoming fourth directorial venture, tentatively referred to as #AB4. The film features Ghattamaneni Jayakrishna, son of the late actor-producer Ramesh Babu and nephew of superstar Mahesh Babu, in the lead role.

Putting an end to the speculation, the makers announced that Rasha Thadani, daughter of Raveena Tandon and Anil Thadani, will play the female lead. A new announcement poster was released today, marking a major milestone in Rasha’s career as she steps into Tollywood.

Rasha has previously appeared in Azaad and made waves with the viral track “Uyi Amma”, which turned her into a familiar face among young audiences. With #AB4, she is set to make her full-fledged Telugu debut.

An intense love story in a rugged backdrop

Industry sources reveal that Ajay Bhupathi has crafted a powerful and demanding role for Rasha. The film is said to revolve around an intense love story set against a rugged hill backdrop, aiming for a raw and grounded narrative. The team is reportedly focusing on emotional authenticity rather than heightened cinematic melodrama.

Shoot to begin this month

Regular shooting for the film is scheduled to commence later this month. The team is expected to reveal the title and more key details soon.

Gemini Kiran is producing the project under Chandamama Kathalu Pictures, while Ashwini Dutt is presenting it. The combination has already generated strong buzz among Telugu cinema fans who are eager to see this fresh pairing on screen.
