Rayagada: A Revenue Inspector (RI) died after reportedly falling ill while playing cricket in Rayagada district of Odisha on Sunday. The incident occurred at an RCC playground near IACR College.

The deceased has been identified as P. Rajesh, who was working as a Revenue Inspector in Gudari Block of Rayagada district. His residence was in Yedu Sahi of Rayagada town.

Revenue Inspector Collapses During Cricket Match

According to reports, Rajesh was playing cricket at the playground when he suddenly began feeling unwell. He reportedly informed other players about his condition before collapsing after some time.

Other players immediately rushed him to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Rayagada, for medical treatment.

However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead.

Police Investigate Revenue Inspector’s Death
