New Delhi: T20 World Cup 2022: Today evening India celebrates Diwali. India beat Pakistan by four wickets at MCG – Melbourne Cricket Ground. Virat Kohli smashed 82 runs not out of just 53 balls to help India win the first match T20 World Cup 2022. Chase 160 runs not easy when team India was 31 runs for 4 wickets. But Kohli helped team India claim a four-wicket win.

Pakistan pacers Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah took early wickets in the powerplay to trouble India early in the chase. But former India captain Kohli was unbeaten on 82 runs to help team India beat Pakistan by four wickets in a high-voltage match at MCG. Earlier in the match, Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh took three-wicket each and restrict Pakistan to 159 for 8 in 20 overs. Shan Masood Unbeaten 52 runs and Iftikar Ahmed 51 runs helped Pakistan to a fighting total.

Today Sunday, Virat Kohli played one of the best of his career. The former team India captain remained unbeaten on 82 runs to help India beat Pakistan by 4 wickets in a thrilling contest.

India captain Rohit Sharma said after match, Virat and Hardik are experienced guys. Staying calm and taking it as deep as possible was critical, and they did that and we won the match.
