Jajpur Road Accident: Two persons died on spot on NH 16

Jajpur: Two persons died on spot in a road accident on NH 16 near Gopalpur in Jajpur district today early morning.

According to Information, a car hit a stationary trailer near Gopalpur on National Highway-16 under Kuakhia police station. two persons died on the spot.

The two deceased persons were on their way from Jagatsinghpur to visit Ghatgaon Tarini. The two deceased were identified as Biswajit Maiti and Diptaprabha Panda of Erasma police station area. It is said that the accident happened around 4 am.

The driver and others are reported to be in critical condition. The driver has been transferred to SCB Cuttack. Kuakhia police are investigating the incident. The police have found out from the preliminary investigation that dense fog was the cause of the accident.
