Nitish Kumar Reddy Released from India Squad for First Test Against South Africa

All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been released from India’s squad for the first Test against South Africa, the BCCI announced today. He will now join the India A side for the upcoming One-day series against South Africa A in Rajkot.

The three-match One-day series between India A and South Africa A will be played at the Niranjan Shah Stadium, Rajkot, from 13th to 19th November 2025.

Nitish to Rejoin for Second Test

After completing his duties with India A, Nitish Kumar Reddy is set to rejoin the senior team for the second Test of the South Africa tour. His temporary release is seen as an opportunity for the young all-rounder to gain more match time ahead of the longer format.
