He emphasized that this initiative positions Odisha as a national leader in millet research, production, and policy innovation.

Women Farmers at the Core of Odisha’s Agricultural Growth

Acknowledging the vital role of women in agriculture, Chouhan appreciated the state’s inclusive approach to empowering women farmers through innovative schemes and policies. The symposium celebrated their role in conserving biodiversity and preserving traditional agricultural practices.

Event Concludes with Governor’s Address

The event concluded with Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati attending the closing ceremony and congratulating all stakeholders for their contributions toward sustainable agriculture and millet promotion.

The International Symposium on Shree Anna and Women Farmers 2025 reaffirmed Odisha’s commitment to agricultural innovation, biodiversity, and women’s empowerment in farming.
