Noida: A 35-year-old man died after allegedly jumping from the 43rd floor of the Supernova Spira building in Sector 94, Noida, on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Sambhav Jain, a resident of Manesar in Gurugram. The case falls under the jurisdiction of the Sector 126 Police Station.

According to preliminary police information, Jain had booked a room in the high-rise through an online platform and checked in a day before the incident. He had reportedly arrived at the property alone for a one-day stay.

Man Seen Near Balcony Before Incident

Police said Jain was reportedly noticed near the balcony railing before the fall. An AC repair team working in a neighbouring apartment saw him and attempted to intervene.

The technicians reportedly tried to persuade him to move away from the edge. Despite their efforts, he allegedly fell from the 43rd floor.

A video related to the incident has also surfaced and is being examined as part of the investigation. Police are collecting available evidence to establish the sequence of events.

CCTV and Digital Evidence Under Probe

Police reached the location after receiving information and took the body into custody. A panchnama was prepared before post-mortem procedures were initiated.

A forensic team inspected the location and collected evidence. Investigators are also examining CCTV recordings from the building and surrounding areas to trace Jain’s movements before the incident.

Officials have questioned people who were present near the building at the time.

Police Examine Financial Pressure Angle

During the preliminary inquiry, people in the area reportedly told police that Jain had been under mental stress. Investigators are also examining a possible financial angle.

Initial information indicates that he may have been facing financial difficulties and significant financial pressure. Police are also looking into reports that he had been missing from his home for around four days.

Investigators have reportedly found a WhatsApp conversation involving Jain and his father and are examining its contents.

A video allegedly recorded before the incident has also been collected as part of the inquiry. Reports indicate that the video referred to financial difficulties and suggested that Jain was contemplating suicide.

However, police have not yet established a definitive reason for his death. Officials are continuing to examine CCTV footage, digital evidence and statements from witnesses before reaching any conclusion. Jain’s family has been informed, and further legal proceedings are underway.
