Subhadra Yojana Online Apply 2024: Odisha government deputy chief minister Pravati Parida indicated that women in higher income groups or those who file income tax returns would not be eligible for the state government’s Subhadra Yojana.
She stated that the government will release the standard operating procedure (SOP) on August 15th, providing clarity on the scheme’s operation and beneficiaries.
The SOP’s finalization will clarify the scheme’s modalities and format. She also advised women not to be influenced by the opposition political partie’s disinformation campaign. On September 17, the program will go live in the state.
The deputy chief minister stated that the state government has allotted Rs 10,000 crore for the 2024–25 budget; however, she continued, funding will not be a barrier and the amount will grow if necessary. Higher income groupings of women are unlikely to be eligible for the program, though.
According to the deputy chief minister, the Subhadra Yojana is unlikely to cover individuals who pay income tax. Prior to this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, September 17, will see the commencement of the program, according to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. Each woman would receive a cash voucher worth Rs 50,000 as part of the plan.
Subhadra Yojana Odisha Eligibility Criteria:
- According to sources, the Subhadra Yojana scheme will only apply to one woman per family and will provide a cash voucher worth Rs 50,000.
- The beneficiaries must be between the ages of 21 and 59 and must be residents of the area; they may include divorced, widowed.
- whose self-declared income is not more than Rs 1.5 lakh, either on their own or through family.
- Families with salaried employees in the government and semi-government sectors and income tax payers will not be eligible.
