Stock Market Today, March 21: Adroit Infotech, Bharat Gears, Megastar Foods, Orchasp, Smartlink Holdings, V R Films & Studios, and Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility were among the 96 equities that hit their 52-week lows on Friday. On the other hand, when the market recovered, 75 equities hit 52-week highs, with noteworthy names including Bajaj Finance, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Shree Cement, and SRF resulting a Nifty Bounce Back.

The Sensex and Nifty 50 both maintained their upward momentum as the Indian stock market concluded Friday’s session on a high note. The Nifty 50 increased by 159.75 points, or 0.68%, to 23,350.40, while the Sensex rose 557.45 points, or 0.73%, to end at 76,905.51.

Why Indian Share Market is Rising

Important industries including banking, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals contributed significantly to the gains as the Nifty 50 comfortably broke through the 23,300 resistance mark. Experts observed that the indices continued to grow, supported by domestic consumption themes that are less affected by international trade battles, notwithstanding initial cautious trading prompted by global market swings and trade concerns.
