Ayushmann Khurrana Becomes ‘Fit India’ Icon In PM Modi’s Fit India Movement To Promote Fitness

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has been designated as the official Fit India Icon as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Fit India Movement. Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya made the news during the Fit India Movement’s opening ceremony in the national capital.

With this high honor, Ayushmann Khurrana joins a government-led program to encourage exercise and good living among Indians. The movement encourages people from all areas of life to make fitness a daily habit and include physical activity into their routines.

Speaking on the event, Ayushmann, recognized for his prominent roles and large youth fan base, expressed his support for the effort. He highlighted the value of exercise in living a prosperous and joyful life.

Highlighting the significance of good health, the actor said:

He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya for his efforts to promote fitness throughout the country.

Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya complimented Ayushmann Khurrana’s dedication to fitness and national well-being. He stated:

“When celebrities like you endorse the Fit India Movement, it inspires millions of youngsters to take fitness seriously. A fit person contributes to a fit and developed India, making our nation stronger.”

The Fit India Movement, which launched on August 29, 2019, is dedicated to developing a fitness culture through a variety of activities and events. The organization’s main goals are to make exercise accessible and enjoyable by incorporating simple physical activities into daily life.
